Arrival by train:
Via Wuppertal-Unterbarmen
At Wuppertal main station, follow the signs to the city center. To do so, leave platform 1 through the new station building towards the city center. After about 100m you will find the stop of the suspension railroad on the left side. Take the tram two stops in the direction of Oberbarmen until you reach the Landgericht stop. At the stairway plateau, go down to the left and then keep left and follow the footpath along the Wupper. Cross the street at the Wupper bridge and follow the footpath along the Wupper (Helene-Stöcker-Ufer) and at the end of the path turn left and walk under a gate. Now behind the ramp on the left past the refectory use the entrance to the building HD.
By suspension railway
Change from the long-distance train at Wuppertal main station to the S7 (direction Remscheid) or S8 (direction Oberbarmen/Hagen) from platform 4/5. Get off at the next station (Wuppertal Unterbarmen). On the platform, take the Wittensteinstraße exit. To do this, leave the stairs on the left and then walk along Plüschwostraße to the second intersection (B7, Friedrich-Engels-Allee). From there, cross over to the opposite side of the street and keep left until you reach Pauluskirchstraße after about 100 meters on the right. Entrance building HD.
Arrival by car:
From the A 46 freeway:
You can reach us by car by leaving the A 46 at the Wuppertal-Elberfeld exit and following the signs towards "Zentrum" or "Universität". After about 1.8 km you will see MC Donalds on the right hand side and turn left towards "Barmen". Continue straight ahead and turn right before the one-way street (nothing else is allowed at this point) into Haspeler Straße. Follow this road until you reach the traffic lights and turn left onto the B7. After approx. 150 m please turn around on the B7 (U-turn). Continue straight ahead and turn right into the second street "Pauluskirchstraße". The building in which you will find us is building HD.
In case you can't find a parking place, drive on the B7 in the direction of Hauptbahnhof. Turn left at the third traffic light (Mediamarkt) and turn left after the railroad underpass (see sketch for railroad directions). Continue straight ahead until you reach the P&R car park. Leave the parking lot through the station building and follow the footpath in the sketch.
Arrival by plane:
from Düsseldorf International(local transport ticket price level B, one-way ticket or day ticket if arriving/departing on the same day):Take the "People Mover" to the airport long-distance train station. Take any train in the direction of Düsseldorf to the main station. Change there in- S8 direction Hagen/Dortmund (35min) to Wuppertal-Unterbarmen or- RE4 direction Dortmund (21min) to Wuppertal Hauptbahnhof or- RE13 direction Hamm/Westf.
